Really, Anyone Who Has Ever Said “Could Care Less” When You Meant “Couldn’t Care Less”?
You’re so unconcerned with the point you’re trying to make (in spite of the inherent passion, or lack thereof–but then, what is a lack of passion, but a passion of its own?–implied by the phrase in question, to begin with) that you don’t think about what you’re saying long enough to realize that its meaning is more or less the opposite of what you intend to convey?
